Health in the Hood connects communities to health and wellness, providing education, physical fitness classes and healthy eating opportunities for children and families in neighborhoods across Miami. The Health in the Hood Food Distribution serves around 250 families each week. Volunteers are needed to prepare grocery bags for our drive-thru food pantry from 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM every Tuesday and Thursday.

Volunteers must wear close-toed shoes. Distribution is outdoors - please bring water and sunscreen. If you have any questions or concerns, please email our Program Manager Nikki Marie Perez at n.perez@healthinthehood.org.

Health in the Hood will supply all items necessary for the Food Distribution operations.
