Operation Helping Hands

Hurricane Relief Effort for Melissa

Operation Helping Hands (OHH) is a joint emergency response and disaster relief partnership fund established in 1998 by United Way Miami and the Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald.

To support and assist affected families in Jamaica, Cuba, Haiti, the Bahamas and across the Caribbean with both the immediate relief and long-term recovery needs, United Way Miami and the Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald have activated Operation Helping Hands (OHH).

100% of funds raised through Operation Helping Hands will be used to purchase critical relief items and services through trusted non-profit organizations working on the ground in affected areas.
