rs are building a stronger Miami by creating solutions and bridging the gap
s. \n\nThis MLK Day, United Way Miami is inviting volunteers to build kits
from the comforts of their homes. Collect supplies, gather a team of friend
s and family, and assemble memory enrichment kits and/or weekend snack pack
s that will benefit Easterseals South Florida's children, older adults, and
their families.\n\nOnce completed, kits can be dropped off at United Way M
iami via drive-thru. Available drop-off times: \n\n Friday, January 21 from
11 am - 1 pm \nFriday, January 28 from 11 am - 1 pm \n\nAbout Easterseals
South Florida:\nEasterseals South Florida has been serving families in Sout
h Florida for nearly 80 years. We provide exceptional services, education,
and outreach for children ages birth to 22 years old, Head Start, and Early
Head Start programs, adult daycare and in-home respite for older adults li
ving with Alzheimer's and other memory disorders and their families. We wan
t every child in our Head Start, early education, and special education pro
grams to reach his/her full potential and every adult living with Alzheimer
's or other memory disorder- and their caregivers - to live the fullest and
most dignified life possible. Easterseals is responsive to the needs of ea
ch community - helping to overcome barriers that frequently hinder access t
o high-quality services for the families we serve.\n\nOpportunity Type: Ind
