Powered by United Way of Miami-Dade

Currently, we have a need for volunteers to respond to the impacts and community implications of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Note that United Way of Miami-Dade continues to closely monitor and evaluate the situation to ensure we are taking necessary measures to protect the health and wellbeing of our volunteers. We will update you regarding the status of this volunteer opportunity should anything change.

In partnership with Farm Share and Key Biscayne Community Foundation, Miami-Dade County Public School communities have been identified to receive fresh grocery bags. The selection process was contingent upon addressing the most vulnerable areas, and bags will be delivered to school staff before meal distributions.

Volunteers in good health, who have not been in contact with individuals showing signs of illness related to COVID-19, are needed to unload produce from a truck and pack into grocery bags. If you have previously volunteered, please note the change in location.

Please note the time change.
Shifts available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
12:00 PM - 2:30 PM
