Since 1978, the Family Resource Center of South Florida (FRC) has been championing the rights of children to grow up in a healthy and safe environment. We were founded by a group of concerned citizens, with the mission to help prevent and treat child abuse and neglect through the strengthening of families.

Today, the agency is a leader in child welfare services, providing a full continuum of services that help prevent and treat child abuse and neglect through the strengthening of families. In the past year, Family Resource Center of South Florida provided services to more than 2,500 children, adolescents and adults.

We are looking for a volunteer who can share their marketing and social media experiences to help us expand our reach and impact with clients and community members. This individual will work to create engaging content including keeping social media updated and brand focused, and seeking out new ways to connect with audiences.

Skills needed:

  • Creative and hands-on

  • Understanding of different types of marketing and communications media

  • Willingness to work cooperatively with staff, interns, and other volunteers

  • Ability to work independently and follow directions

  • Able to attend events and fundraisers to capture the moments on social media

Experience is a bonus but we welcome students as well! Schedule is flexible and remote.
